Job summary

Applied Research Solutions is seeking an Acquisition Analyst to support SOF AT&L, with responsibilities spanning program execution, budget control, and contract analysis. The role requires a TS/SCI clearance and US citizenship, and focuses on federal acquisition practices within DoD programs.

The candidate will prepare Statements of Work, review contracts, and provide decision-quality updates to leadership, while coordinating with government counterparts on budgets and project performance.

Qualifications

• 10 years of experience in Federal Government acquisition programs.
• Expertise developing Statements of Work and reviewing contracts.
• Experience managing acquisition funding from budget development to fund obligation.
• US citizenship and TS/SCI clearance required.
• DAWIA Practitioner Equivalency IAW PWS in PM, S&T or T&E fields.

Responsibilities

• Support government counterparts on program execution and reporting requirements.
• Maintain status of S&T projects and provide decision quality information to leadership.
• Support contract modification and change order recommendations.
• Support budget control to assist programmatic efforts.
• Provide inputs for SOWs, RFPs, proposals, cost estimates and technical reviews.
• Apply tools to document and analyze results of complex activities.
• Plan and document surveillance of contract execution.
• Provide inputs for leadership briefings on programs and issues.
• Analyze trends to advise on performance indicators and process improvements.
• Apply funding rules for various appropriations.
