Job summary

Bully Pulpit International, based in Washington, DC, seeks an experienced ACD to lead high-impact campaigns with a collaborative team. You will own concepts from script to screen, shaping award-winning work for global brands and issue advocacy clients.

The role requires 6–9 years in a creative advertising agency, a strong portfolio across TV/OLV, social, OOH, and digital, and the ability to mentor junior teammates while staying ahead of industry trends and testing against strategic insights.

Qualifications

• 6-9 years of experience in creative copywriting, art direction, or creative directing in an ad agency
• Strong portfolio across multiple channels (TV/OLV, social, OOH, digital)
• Experience leading or partnering with a creative team to develop 360 campaigns
• Ability to present ideas clearly and defend concepts to clients and stakeholders
• Comfort working with multiple clients/projects and meeting tight deadlines

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute high-impact, conceptual ad campaigns for global brands and issue advocacy clients
• Produce persuasive copy and art across media, tailoring tone to each channel
• Mentor junior team members and foster creative problem-solving
• Stay attuned to cultural and industry trends to keep campaigns relevant and impactful
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align creative with objectives and insights
• Pitch concepts to internal teams and clients with clarity and passion
