Qualifications

• CPA preferred; professional designation is an asset.
• Minimum 7 years of accounting experience is required.
• Experience with audits and financial reporting is essential.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Manage the general accounting function and close processes.
• Develop and refine accounting policies and internal controls.
• Review finances to ensure compliance with regulations.
• Oversee contracts related to financial reporting.
• Lead budgeting/forecasting and provide analyses to leadership.
• Ensure accuracy and safeguarding of organizational assets.
• Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff.
• Prepare information for audits and external reporting.
