Job summary

Collectors, a leading collectibles technology company, seeks a Senior Manager for Corporate Accounting focused on global consolidations and external financial reporting. You will own monthly, quarterly, and annual closes for multiple entities and currencies under US GAAP.

Responsibilities include intercompany eliminations, currency translation, ERP system maintenance (Netsuite), and coordinating with regional teams and external auditors. CPA preferred; strong Excel and ERP skills required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance required.
  • 8–10+ years leading multi-entity consolidations under US GAAP.
  • Strong Excel skills and ERP/consolidation tools experience.
  • Experience with ASC 810/ASC 830 and intercompany accounting.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

  • Lead monthly, quarterly and annual consolidation for multiple entities.
  • Prepare intercompany eliminations and equity entries.
  • Manage foreign currency translation and remeasurement under ASC 830.
  • Maintain ERP consolidation system and COA mappings (NetSuite).
  • Coordinate with regional teams and external auditors on close.
  • Support policy updates, SOX controls, and transfer pricing entries.

This role is responsible for the accurate and timely consolidation of financial results across multiple entities and currencies, ensuring compliance with US GAAP, and supporting the preparation of consolidated financial statements. The ideal candidate has strong technical accounting skills, experience with multi-entity / multi-currency environments, and thrives in a fast-paced, deadline-driven close process.What You'll do:ConsolidationsLead the monthly, quarterly, and annual consolidation process for multiple domestic and international entitiesPrepare and review intercompany eliminations, minority interest, and equity pickup entriesManage foreign currency translation (CTA) and remeasurement in accordance with ASC 830Maintain and enhance the ERP consolidation system (e.g., Netsuite) including chart of accounts mapping, entity structures, and ownership changesPartner with regional / local directors to ensure accurate and timely submission of financial dataAssist with billing and reconciliation of intercompany transactions and transfer pricing journal entriesFinancial ReportingAssist in the preparation of consolidated financial statements, footnotes, and supporting schedules for internal management reporting and external financial reportingSupport technical accounting research and memo preparation for complex or non-routine transactionsAssist with drafting and updating accounting policies and proceduresClose Process & ControlsOwn key components of the monthly close, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and flux analysisEnsure compliance with internal controls (SOX, if applicable) related to consolidation and reporting processesIdentify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy of the close and consolidation cycleCoordinate with external auditors on quarterly reviews and annual audit requestsCross-Functional CollaborationWork closely with FP&A, Tax, Treasury, and business unit accounting / finance teams to ensure consistency of financial dataSupport M&A integration activities, including purchase accounting and consolidation of newly acquired entitiesWork closely with the Payroll team and HR to oversee and manage international payroll operations for newly established entities, ensuring accurate and timely processing of employee compensation, tax withholdings, and statutory contributions in compliance with local labor laws and regulations, including journal entries and reconciliation of payroll-related accounts (accrued wages, employer taxes, and statutory liabilities) to the general ledger.Assist in ad hoc financial analysis and special projects as neededWho You Are:Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field8-10 years of progressive accounting experience, including experience with multi-entity/multi-currency consolidationsStrong knowledge of US GAAP, particularly consolidation accounting (ASC 810), foreign currency (ASC 830), and intercompany accountingAdvanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, financial modeling)Experience with ERP systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP, NetSuite, Workday) and consolidation tools (e.g., OneStream, Hyperion/HFM, Adaptive, Cognos)Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skillsAbility to manage competing deadlines in a fast-paced close environmentNice to Have:CPA license or active pursuit of CPA certificationPublic accounting experience (Big 4 or national firm) a plusExperience with SEC reporting and XBRLExposure to purchase accounting / M&A integrationExperience working in a global, matrixed organizationSalary Range: The salary range for this position is $139,000 – $215,000 . Actual compensation on this range varies based on a variety of non-discriminatory factors, including location, job level, experience, and skill set.
