Job summary

Randstad USA is seeking an accounting consultant for a small but growing company near Downtown Dallas. The role reports to the corporate controller and is hybrid in nature. This is a W2 contract with an expected duration of 3-6 months:

location: Dallas, Texas

salary: $40 - 60 per hour; education: Bachelor's degree; experience: 5 Years. Responsibilities include end-to-end purchasing and accounts payable ownership, reconciliations, pre-IPO accounting support, and proactive issue resolution.

Qualifications

• Public Accounting exposure preferred, Hands-on operational accounting required.
• Highly autonomous, thick-skinned, methodical, and comfortable bringing order to ambiguous, fast-changing environments.
• Deep understanding of field transaction support, payables workflows, and pre-IPO accounting adjustments.
• Experience with NetSuite and payables platforms is a plus.

Responsibilities

• AP & Purchasing Ownership: Take full command of end-to-end purchasing and field-level accounts payable, moving beyond basic data entry to direct complex coding, vendor relations, and approval workflows.
• Process Cleanup & Reconciliations: Untangle unmethodical historical records, resolve field-level transaction details, and build clear audit trails.
• Pre-IPO Accounting Support: Partner directly with internal accounting leadership on operational US GAAP projects as functions shift back in-house.
• Proactive Execution: Track milestones, flag roadblocks early, and independently solve problems without requiring hand-holding.
