Riverbend Community Mental Health, Inc. seeks a Senior Accounting Analyst to strengthen financial health, compliance, and grant accounting for a mission-driven healthcare provider. You will analyze reimbursements, expenditures, and reporting while supporting budgeting and strategic planning.

Qualifications

• Advanced background in complex accounting, grant management, and financial reporting (healthcare or CCBHC experience preferred).
• Strong grasp of GAAP, 2 CFR Part 200, and Medicaid reimbursement rules.
• Analytical, problem-solving, and financial modeling skills with a focus on compliance.

Responsibilities

• Support CCBHC Financial Compliance & Reimbursement by managing data, reporting, and documentation for certifications, Medicaid reimbursement, grants, and regulatory needs.
• Analyze financial performance, evaluate trends, variances, service costs, and expenditures to find efficiency opportunities.
• Develop financial models, forecasts, and ad hoc analyses to support workforce planning and strategic decisions.
• Perform reconciliations, support monthly/annual closings, and prepare schedules across org, CCBHC, and grant functions.
• Strengthen internal controls to comply with GAAP and grant regulations; assist audits and reviews.
• Identify opportunities to streamline workflows and automate processes; enhance data integrity in systems.
• Collaborate with finance and program leaders to translate financial data into actionable insights.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to accounting staff on finance projects.
