Job summary

PepsiCo is seeking a skilled corporate accounting professional to support consolidation entries, intercompany eliminations, and complex balance sheet analyses within a Hybrid Purchase, NY office. You will prepare quarterly and annual disclosures for 10-Q and 10-K filings, including OCI-related notes and asset life amortization.

Collaboration with treasury and control teams is essential. Minimum qualifications include a Bachelor's in accounting and CPA, with 3+ years in accounting or auditing,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field required.
• CPA required; candidates actively working towards certification with at least two sections passed already will be considered.
• 3+ years of accounting /auditing experience.
• This position is limited to persons with indefinite right to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Preparation of Corporate Consolidation journal entries impacting the balance sheet, income statement and taxes.
• Preparation of inter/intracompany balance sheet eliminations, including analysis and review.
• Assisting sectors with inter/intracompany matching of transactions, and reviewing explanations for differences above defined thresholds.
• Preparation of quarterly and annual disclosures for 10-Q and 10-K reporting, including statements of OCI and accumulated OCI/Loss disclosures, useful life of PP&E and long-lived assets.
• Performing quarterly and annual balance sheet analysis and coordinating with each division to resolve unusual balances or variances.
• Analysis, review, and elimination of intercompany investment activity.
• Reviewing joint venture information submitted by sectors for accuracy and completeness.
• Managing joint venture database updates and access control as required by PepsiCo security protocols.
• Managing Hyperion FDM load processes for balance sheet, treasury and intercompany data.
• Preparation of financial reports for the Treasury team, including topside analysis for amounts booked to cash accounts.

Education
