Job summary

Henderson Scott US in the NYC metro area seeks a Senior Accountant to join the growing accounting and finance team. This new role will oversee day-to-day accounting operations across the business and play a key role in the monthly, quarterly, and yearly close processes.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of progressive accounting experience, with a preference for public accounting and CPA. Media/Technology/Startup experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Ownership of monthly, quarterly, and yearly close processes.
• Financial reporting package preparation.

• Establish and maintain SOX compliance frameworks and documentation.

This is a new position - created due to company growth - and will play an integral role in overseeing the day to day accounting operations across the business
