Lob is seeking a Senior Accountant to own AR and revenue recognition processes, ensuring accurate billing, collections, and reporting under ASC 606. You’ll partner with Sales, Product, and Engineering on contracts and billing, strengthening controls as the business grows.

You will manage month-end close related to revenue and AR, record cash receipts, and drive automation in billing-to-cash workflows while supporting audits and leadership reporting.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of GAAP in AR, revenue, deferred revenue and unbilled receivables.
• Understanding of ASC 606—performance obligations, variable consideration, contract modifications.
• Openness to process improvements and automation in billing-to-cash workflows.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Customer-facing communication with clarity and professionalism.
• Strong time management to meet deadlines.

Responsabilités

• Support month-end close activities related to revenue and AR (journal entries, reconciliations, flux analysis)
• Record journal entries for cash receipts and maintain reconciliations
• Ensure revenue is recognized under ASC 606 across performance obligations
• Oversee AR sub-ledger accuracy including invoicing and cash application
• Investigate billing discrepancies and reconcile across systems
• Drive process improvements in billing-to-cash workflows
• Support external audits with revenue details and reconciliations
• Assist weekly leadership reporting on business results
