Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• 3+ years of public accounting experience, or 3+ years combined public/industry accounting experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist with all phases of client engagements including planning, mobilization, execution and closeout.
• Ensure scope is met with quality, financial, risk, and policy expectations.
• Ensure compliance with policies, laws, and regulations; stay updated on relevant matters.
• Conduct research to resolve technical accounting issues as needed.
• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and support month-end close processes.
• Provide on-site, virtual or augmented services for clients.
• Prepare reports and deliverables highlighting issues, trends and risks.
• Support other consulting projects as necessary.
• Communicate issues/concerns proactively; assist with certification exams and maintain CPE.

EisnerAmper has experienced significant growth and is seeking a Senior Accountant for our Outsourced Accounting team focused on special projects. You will play a crucial role in supporting the financial operations and accounting processes for clients in various sectors. The Senior Accountant will collaborate with cross-functional teams and clients to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting and assist with key business decisions.

WhatWork You Willbe Responsible For:

• Assist the team through all phases of client engagements including work planning, mobilization, execution, and closeout consistent with established program delivery processes to meet the scope, schedule, budget, and other contract requirements
• Ensure that the scope of work is completed to the satisfaction of the client and key stakeholders, while simultaneously ensuring that quality, financial, risk management, business and policy expectations are met
• Ensure compliance with applicable policies, procedures, laws, and regulations, while staying up to date on compliance-related matters
• Conduct research to resolve technical accounting issues as appropriate
• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and support month-end close processes
• May provide on-site, virtual or augmented business services for clients
• Assist with preparing reports and deliverables for review, highlighting key issues, trends, and risks identified during project work
• Provide support on other consulting projects, as necessary
• Proactively communicates any issues/concerns relating to assignments
• Prepares for relevant certification exams until completed and maintains the required CPE for firm and licensing requirements

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
• 3+ years of public accounting experience, or 3+ years combined experience across public and industry accounting

Preferred/Desired Skills:

• CPA or pursuing CPA certification
• Ability to learn and understand new concepts, workflows, and software applications.
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail
• Perform effectively, efficiently, and with quality under tight deadlines while managing multiple priorities
• Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
• Demonstrate a positive attitude, proactive nature, and be receptive to feedback
• Exhibit professionalism and maintain the highest level of confidentiality
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and within a team environment
• Technically proficient with the capability of performing at an intermediate or advanced level with respect to the Microsoft Office Suite of products (specifically Excel, and Word, Outlook)
