EisnerAmper is hiring a Senior Accountant to join the Outsourced Accounting Team in Baton Rouge. You will work remotely with clients, perform reconciliations, prepare financial statements, and support various accounting functions while upholding accuracy and deadlines.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years of experience, strong Excel skills, and familiarity with QuickBooks, Sage Intacct, Xero, and Bill.com. The role offers a path to growth within a world‑class advisory firm.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree in accounting or related field.
• 3+ years of staff or senior accountant experience.
• Experience with cloud-based accounting platforms.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and standard office software.

Responsibilities

• Complete non-complex and some complex account reconciliations and recording transactions.
• All facets of monthly, quarterly, and annual adjusting and closing process.
• Prepare and independently review client financial statements, balance sheets, income statements, and general ledger.
• Prepare and review financial and statistical reports, analyzing unusual items and notifying Accounting Manager.
• Prepare and/or review tax returns, payroll tax, and payroll reports timely and accurately.
• Assist with audits, due diligence, system selection, and other consulting projects.
• Develop and maintain a thorough working knowledge of accounting software packages.
• Gain a thorough understanding of the financial operations of our clients across industries.
