Job summary

Alliance North America in Henderson, NV, is seeking a Senior Accountant for an onsite role. You will prepare financial reports, maintain the general ledger, and support tax filings and audits to ensure accuracy and compliance.

The position requires 3-5+ years of accounting experience, a Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance, strong GAAP knowledge, and proficiency with accounting software. Mentoring of junior staff and process improvements are part of the responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
• 3-5+ years of accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and tax laws.
• Proficient with accounting software.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to work with little supervision.

Responsibilities

• Maintains the general ledger.
• Sales and use tax for multiple states.
• Lease accounting ASC842.
• Allocate expenses to all departments.
• Record elimination entries for 2 entities.
• Prepaid schedule.
• Codes invoices and reconcile accounts; assist with month-end closing.
• Reconcile bank accounts monthly; respond to bank inquiries.
• Assist auditors; provide necessary documents for annual audit.
• Prepare financial statements and analyze variances.
• Assess internal controls and risk areas; perform balance sheet and income statement analyses.
• Maintain and reconcile fixed assets schedules.
• Mentor junior accounting staff; other department duties as assigned.
