Qualifications
Minimum 5 years of accounting experience, preferable in nonprofit or foundation settings.
Responsibilities
Reconcile incoming gifts, including credit card transactions.
Support the annual budget process, prepare supporting schedules and analysis.
Prepare audit schedules and assist with annual audit.
Track and report on new clients and new gifts.
Assist with corporate insurance renewals and documentation.
Skills
Strong understanding of GAAP and nonprofit financial reporting
Experience with fund accounting and endowment management
Proficiency in accounting software and financial reporting tools
Advanced Excel skills
Excellent analytical, organization, and communication skills
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
