Job summary

E-Space in Arlington, TX, seeks a Senior Accountant to join the growing startup finance team. This role offers broad exposure across general accounting, NetSuite, accounts payable, audit and tax support, and is ideal for a CPA candidate or licensed CPA looking to deepen hands-on experience in a fast-paced environment.

You will work across month-end close, journal entries, reconciliations, US GAAP compliance, and NetSuite enhancements while collaborating cross-functionally.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• CPA candidate or active CPA license preferred.
• 4-6 years of accounting experience in startup, technology, or manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and month-end close processes.
• Hands-on experience with NetSuite (required); advanced users preferred.
• Experience with accounts payable, vendor management, and payment processing.
• Inventory and COGS accounting experience is a plus.
• Strong Excel skills; Google Sheets a plus.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize deadlines in a fast-paced startup.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes.
• Prepare and post journal entries, including accruals, prepaids, payroll, inventory, and fixed assets.
• Assist with balance sheet reconciliations and timely resolution of variances.
• Reconcile bank statements, cash-in-transit, and credit card statements.
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements and supporting schedules.
• Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP and internal accounting controls.
• Perform daily accounting activities in NetSuite and maintain GL/subledgers.
• Support AP, vendor management, and payment processing.
• Assist with 1099 preparation and reporting.
• Support audit and compliance with external auditors and tax filings.
