Job summary

Dana F. Cole & Company, LLP is seeking an active Staff Accountant or Senior Accountant to own a client portfolio and advance toward partnership.

You will deliver tax and accounting services across individuals, partnerships, corporations, nonprofits, estates, and trusts, while guiding engagements and mentoring junior staff. You’ll meet with clients to build lasting relationships and you’ll have the chance to shape your career in a firm that values people as much as numbers, with flexible

Qualifications

• Active CPA license is a plus—but not required.
• 2-4 years of audit or tax experience in public accounting.
• Proven ability to manage client relationships and oversee multiple engagements.
• Excellent analytical, research, and communication skills.
• Confidence in explaining complex financial concepts to clients from all backgrounds.
• Farm tax experience is a plus—but not required.

Responsibilities

• Manage and grow your own portfolio of clients.
• Provide tax and accounting services to individuals, partnerships, corporations, nonprofits, estates, and trusts.
• Plan, prepare, and review tax returns.
• Meet directly with clients to cultivate strong, lasting relationships.
• Deliver a variety of non‑attest services.
• Oversee and mentor staff, helping to develop future leaders within the firm.
