Job summary

Partnership Financial Credit Union is seeking an Accountant II to perform a broad range of accounting and financial tasks. The role requires organization, attention to detail, and the ability to work with vendors and staff with minimal supervision.

The Accountant II reports to the Controller and may work closely with the COSO and CLO, the Accountant I, and other branch/office personnel. This role will close monthly books, prepare statements, manage vendor payments, assist auditors, and support

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or business administration required.
• Minimum of 1 year of related experience; cash handling or banking experience preferred.
• Strong analytical and operational skillset.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; well-organized and detail oriented.

Responsibilities

• Close monthly books and prepare monthly financial statements.
• Manage vendor records, inputs and payments weekly.
• Prepare quarterly reports and assist external auditors.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and tax-related tasks.
• Maintain accounting policies and ensure compliance with regulations.
