Job summary

Ornua, a leading dairy exporter, seeks a Senior Accountant in Evanston, IL to ensure accuracy and integrity of financial reporting and to support critical accounting processes providing insights to drive performance.

You will own financial reporting, consolidations, tax support, cash flow forecasting, audits, and special projects, collaborating across the organization to improve processes and controls while upholding Ornua's values.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of post-qualification experience in a Staff Accountant or similar accounting role.
• Strong technical accounting experience in financial reporting
• Experience preparing journal entries, accruals, account reconciliations, and month-end close activities.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to prioritize work, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines.
• Strong systems aptitude and ability to learn and work within ERP environments.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work across functions
• Training experience with a leading public accounting or audit firm
• CPA, ACA, or CIMA qualifications preferred
• Experience supporting internal and external audit processes
• Experience with tax compliance and reporting activities
• Commercial finance, financial analysis, or financial modeling experience
• Experience with cash flow forecasting and intercompany accounting
• Experience working in Consumer-Packaged Goods, manufacturing, food, or global organization environment
