MGC Diagnostics is seeking a Senior Accountant to support US and international finance operations from Saint Paul, MN. You will manage monthly closes, post journals, reconcile accounts, and help maintain internal controls within a hybrid office setting.

The role requires 5+ years of GL accounting, advanced Excel, and strong analytical skills. You will assist with tax compliance, intercompany activity, and consolidation of financial statements while collaborating with the finance team.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of general ledger accounting experience.
• BA/BS in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related field.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial close processes to ensure timely and accurate reporting.
• Prepare, reconcile, and post journal entries and account reconciliations.
• Calculate, prepare, and process commission payments and payroll-related uploads with accuracy and timeliness.
• Prepare and file sales tax reports and ensure compliance with applicable tax regulations.
• Maintain and monitor research and development (R&D) project tracking, reporting, and related financial records.
• Process and reconcile intercompany transactions and billings.
• Create, maintain, and update documentation for accounting processes, procedures, and internal controls.
• Assist in the preparation and consolidation of financial statements and supporting schedules.
• Hybrid working model - 3 days per week in office (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday).
