Job summary

Brightview Senior Living is seeking a Senior Accountant to manage day-to-day general ledger accounting for a portfolio of development communities and corporate entities. You will mentor staff accountants and lead resolution of complex financial issues while driving process improvements.

The role provides full-cycle accounting, analytical services, and modeling support across the organization in a fast-paced environment. Collaboration with operational teams is essential.

Qualifications

• BS in Accounting, Finance, or related field; 3+ years accounting/finance experience.
• CPA and/or MBA preferred.
• Advanced Excel, Word, Outlook, and GL systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform day-to-day full cycle accounting for assigned entities and development communities.
• Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and post journal entries; manage intercompany transactions and draw requests.
• Complete month-end close within established timelines; review cash reports and AP selections.
• Assist investor capital calls, waterfall calculations, and distribution activity.
• Support year-end audit, PBC requirements, and preparation of financial statements.
