Job summary

Gilbert CPAs is seeking a Senior Accountant to join our Sacramento team. You will build and manage client relationships, provide GAAP-based financial reporting, and oversee multiple engagements with direct client contact on a regular basis.

The role offers a hybrid work schedule after training, with three days in the Sacramento office and up to two remote days, plus a strong benefits package and opportunities for growth within a large regional firm.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting required.
• 5+ years of relevant accounting/bookkeeping experience, preferably in public accounting or CAS.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting principles.
• Experience managing multiple client engagements simultaneously preferred.

Responsibilities

• Build and manage relationships with clients from day one.
• Direct contact with clients on a regular basis and oversee engagements.
• Occasional travel to client offices for meetings or seminars as needed.
