Job summary

Airgas in Tulsa, OK is seeking a Senior Accountant with a GL focus to provide expert financial oversight and reporting within the Controller organization. You will lead ledger analyses, reconciliations, month-end close, and support audits.

Hybrid schedule, bachelor’s degree required, and a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance. 401(k) with company match, paid holidays, vacations, and parental leave are offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field.
• Minimum of three years financial accounting and/or financial reporting experience.
• Public accounting experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of IFRS/GAAP preferred.
• Strong analytical skills and Excel proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex general ledger account analysis, reconciliations, and reporting (including payroll and A/R).
• Lead accounting projects and guide staff accountants.
• Drive month-end and year-end close, journal entries, and financial statement review.
• Collaborate with Central Division to resolve inquiries and document issues.
• Prepare detailed internal reports for division and corporate management.
