Job summary

Triumvirate Environmental seeks a Senior Accountant for our Corporate Office in Somerville, MA. You will maintain the general ledger, support month-end close, prepare financial statements, and perform variance analysis to aid forecasts and models.

You will collaborate with the Accounting Supervisor and project/branch managers; after 90 days onsite, the role becomes hybrid. A Bachelor’s in Accounting and 4+ years’ experience, plus Oracle ERP proficiency and strong Excel skills, are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required.
• 4+ years of accounting experience with increasing responsibilities.
• Experience with Oracle and/or comparable large-scale ERP systems.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills and ability to analyze large data sets.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Maintain general ledger, prepare and input monthly journal entries, review variances.
• Coordinate month-end close through financial statement preparation and analysis.
• Assist with Fixed Assets Depreciation, ROU under ASC842, and treasury tasks.
• Ensure compliance with revenue and expense recognition.
• Assist in integration of acquired entities and provide financial analysis.
