Job summary

With 7+ years of accounting experience and a Master’s in Accounting or Finance, you will oversee month-end close, mentor staff, and interact with external auditors.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
• 7+ years of accounting experience.
• Extensive knowledge of GAAP and authoritative accounting guidance.
• Experience with financial statement preparation, month-end close, financial analysis, and audit support.
• CPA license strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze internal financial statements and related financial reports.
• Assist with schedules, footnotes, and supporting documentation for annual audited financial statements.
• Interpret and apply GAAP and authoritative accounting guidance to complex accounting matters.
• Provide advanced financial, accounting, analytical, and compliance support to leadership.
• Oversee accounting process flow and month-end close activities.
• Review work completed by other accounting team members as needed to ensure accuracy and consistency.
• Coach and mentor accounting team members.
• Exercise independent judgment when researching and interpreting complex accounting standards and guidance.
• Serve as a senior accounting resource within the department and function at the highest individual-contributor accounting level prior to management.
