McLane in Carrollton, TX, is seeking a Senior Accountant to join our finance team. You will share responsibility for financial reporting for McLane and its customers, ensuring GAAP compliance and accurate balance sheet reconciliations.

The role emphasizes margin analysis, budgeting support, and collaborating with Pricing, Procurement, and Supply Chain teams. Strong analytical and communication skills are essential; CPA or CPA-in-progress is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting is required.
• CPA or CPA-in-progress preferred.
• 3+ years of accounting experience.
• Oracle E-Business Suite experience preferred.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Ability to organize, forecast and meet deadlines.
• English reading/writing proficiency required.

Responsibilities

• Share responsibility for all aspects of financial reporting for McLane and its customers.
• Prepare financial statements and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Support gross margin review and analysis.
• Maintain GAAP, SOX compliance and internal controls.
• Assist in preparing the annual budget.
• Analyze revenue processes and P&L trends to identify discrepancies.
• Collaborate with Pricing, Procurement, and Supply Chain teams as a primary accounting resource.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
