Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of accounting/financial reporting experience in a public company or a minimum of 2 years public accounting experience.
• Completion of or progress toward passing the CPA exam preferred.

Responsibilities

• Analyze complex general ledger accounts and variances for management review.
• Reconcile and monitor complex balance sheet accounts monthly.
• Code, enter, and ensure proper accounting treatment for accounting entries.
• Research GAAP, SEC, and FINRA reporting requirements.
• Liaison with external auditors on audits.
• Complete quarterly regulatory filings and annual financial statements.
• Research regulatory/reporting requirements independently.
• Evaluate operating methods for efficiency improvements.
• Maintain up-to-date written procedures for responsibilities.
• Analyze subsidiary account activity and prepare financial statements.
• Assist with special projects as assigned.
