Neumo Holdings LLC is seeking a Senior Accountant in Centreville, VA to manage fixed assets, tax compliance, payroll, goodwill and lease accounting under ASC/GAAP. The role requires independence, accuracy, and strong collaboration with finance teams.

The candidate will lead or back up staff accountants, own key accounting areas, and interact with auditors. A CPA is preferred; multi-entity experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related field.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience across multiple technical disciplines.
• Thorough knowledge of U.S. GAAP, including ASC 350, 360, 740, 842, and debt accounting.
• Hands-on experience with fixed assets, income tax, sales & use tax, payroll accounting, goodwill, ASC 842, bank reconciliations, and debt accounting.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy; can work independently with minimal direction.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to present complex concepts clearly.

Responsabilités

• Manage fixed assets lifecycle, depreciation, disposals, and capital expenditures.
• Prepare income tax workpapers and multi-jurisdiction tax filings; coordinate with external advisors.
• Oversee payroll accounting entries, reconciliations, and period-end reporting.
• Perform goodwill and intangible asset accounting, impairment testing, and amortization.
• Administer ASC 842 lease accounting and lease portfolio monitoring.
• Record and reconcile debt instruments; prepare debt rollforward and covenant reporting.
• Prepare journal entries, reconciliations, and support internal/external audits; assist close processes.
