Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
• 3+ years of public accounting experience in a similar role.
• Experience in financial statement production (balance sheet, income statement, GL).
• Current CPA certification or actively pursuing CPA.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Review investment portfolio activity, loan servicing, and portfolio syndications; ensure accuracy and timely reporting.
• Prepare financial analyses, reports, and statements; explain variances.
• Review and approve journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reports.
• Lead the preparation of complex journal entries and reconciliations.
• Manage the monthly close calendar and coordinating deliverables across departments.
• Assist with GAAP financial statements and regulatory filings.
