Qualifications

• A bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business or related field and professional experience directly related.
• Experience in accounting, auditing, finance or commercial lending is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of governmental accounting principles and internal controls is expected.

Responsibilities

• Reconcile general ledger accounts and high-volume bank accounts; investigate discrepancies and take corrective action.
• Monitor daily deposits; research and report discrepancies to Accounting Manager.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and year-end journal entries for ERP-untied activity (Bookstore, Café, Continuing Education).
• Prepare and file federal/state tax forms and reports with deadlines.
• Maintain vendor records and ensure W-9 documentation is current; manage vendor classifications.
