Job summary

Zekai is seeking a Senior Accountant Expert for a 100% remote contractor role based in the United States. You will apply deep accounting expertise to annotate financial data and review reports to support AI training and model evaluation.

Prior AI experience is not required; domain knowledge in accounting and compliance is key. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide precise feedback, develop financial models, and ensure regulatory alignment across diverse business scenarios.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
• Extensive knowledge of economics, accounting, law, government regulations, and taxation.
• Significant experience preparing and auditing financial statements.
• Strong cost accounting and budgeting controls expertise.
• Excellent written and verbal communication of technical topics.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on data accuracy and regulatory compliance.
• Hold one or more professional titles: CPA, Cost Accountant, Financial Auditor, General Accountant, Internal Auditor, or Revenue Tax Specialist.

• Strong understanding of cost accounting and budgetary controls.
• Proficient in both written and verbal communication for technical subject matter.
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to data accuracy and regulatory compliance.
• Holding or having held one or more of the following job titles: Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Cost Accountant, Financial Auditor, General Accountant, Internal Auditor, Revenue Tax Specialist.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Advanced certification (e.g., CPA, CMA, CIA) or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience advising on or implementing financial systems and controls.
