Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of progressive accounting experience; more experienced candidates welcome.
• Experience in retail, wholesale, distribution, manufacturing, or another inventory-based business.

Responsibilities

• Manage monthly close activities, including journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations.
• Prepare financial statements, reporting packages, and variance analyses.
• Oversee accounting across multiple entities and retail, e-commerce, and wholesale channels.
• Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, collections, vendor payments, and related reconciliations.
• Maintain inventory records, product costing, and cost of goods sold reporting.
• Reconcile intercompany transactions and support foreign currency accounting and consolidated reporting.
• Coordinate with external accounting providers and ensure accurate, timely reporting.
• Support tax compliance, external audits, and required financial documentation.
• Partner with operations managers to improve accounting procedures, inventory controls, and financial processes.
• Support ERP implementation, system migration, process improvements, and financial analysis.
