Century Group is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their team. The role focuses on accurate financial reporting, reconciliations, and supporting month-end close activities.

You will analyze variances, assist with budgeting and forecasting, and contribute to audit support and process improvements. A Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field and 2+ years of accounting experience are required. Competitive base salary is $85,000 to $105,000 per year.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 2+ years of public accounting experience, or 3+ years of progressive corporate accounting experience.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and account reconciliation processes.
• Experience with accounting systems, financial software, and Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain financial schedules, reconciliations, and supporting documentation to ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Support month end and year end close activities, including account analysis and general ledger maintenance.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning initiatives to support business objectives.
• Analyze financial results, investigate variances, and provide meaningful insights to management.
• Participate in audit support, process improvement initiatives, and special accounting projects as needed.
