A leading recruiting firm in San Antonio is seeking a Senior Director in Accounting & Finance to oversee core accounting functions, engage with senior leadership, and support audit readiness efforts. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, 5+ years of experience, and preferably holds CPA qualifications. This full-time position offers involvement in strategic financial initiatives within a collaborative environment.

Formación

• 5+ years of relevant accounting experience, with supervisory experience preferred.
• CPA or CPA tracking candidates strongly preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee core accounting functions including general ledger maintenance.
• Prepare and review periodic financial deliverables for accuracy.
• Support month-end close process and maintain financial accuracy.
• Implement internal controls and standardized accounting protocols.
• Engage in audit readiness efforts and liaise with external auditors.
• Prepare variance reports and identify financial trends.
• Oversee reconciliations, journal postings, and reporting schedules.
• Coordinate compliance matters, including tax requirements.
• Refine ERP functionality and enhance accounting automation.
• Mentor junior team members.
