Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
• CPA licensure preferred or actively pursuing licensure.
• Strong working knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting principles.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with ERP systems preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage deadlines.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Own the monthly, quarterly, and annual close process for assigned areas, including journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analysis.
• Prepare and review financial statements and supporting schedules in accordance with GAAP.
• Partner with FP&A and operational leaders to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
• Support external audits and serve as a point of contact for auditors.
• Review and mentor staff accountants, providing guidance and feedback.
• Identify and drive process improvements to enhance close and reporting efficiency.
• Maintain and strengthen internal controls across accounting functions.
• Research and document technical accounting positions as new transactions arise.
• Assist with special projects as assigned by the CFO.
