Job summary

The Latin GRAMMY Cultural Foundation (LGCF) in Miami seeks an experienced Senior Accountant to join our finance team. Reporting to the Senior Finance Manager, you will manage budgets, prepare financial statements, and create board-ready presentations.

Key duties include month-end closing, inter-company transactions, and coordination of Workday reporting. You will liaise with management, ensure internal controls, and travel annually for the Latin GRAMMY Awards as needed.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of accounting experience in progressively responsible roles.
• Fluent in English and Spanish; Portuguese a plus.
• Proficiency with Workday preferred.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Willingness to travel for the Latin GRAMMY Awards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, analyze, and distribute financial statements including monthly, quarterly, and annual reports.
• Prepare Budget Reports, comparing actual results to budgeted figures and explain variances.
• Maintain financial records and reflect the company’s financial position.
• Support the preparation of financial presentations for Finance Committee and Board meetings.
• Respond to inquiries from management regarding financial results.
