Mission Action LLC is seeking a Senior Accountant / Accounting Supervisor to oversee daily accounting operations, supervise two accountants, and ensure GAAP compliance for a mix of city, state, federal grants, and private funding sources.
You will collaborate with the Director of Finance and program managers to prepare financial statements, monitor cash flow, and support audits and budgets. Required is nonprofit accounting experience and strong Excel skills.

Compensation: $90,000-$100,000 annual commensurate with experience. Full-time, exempt position. Position Summary
The Senior Accountant / Accounting Supervisor plays a critical role in supporting programs funded by the City and County of San Francisco, state and federal grants, foundations, and private funding sources. This position oversees daily accounting operations and supervises accounting staff responsible for accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger activities. Working closely with the Director of Finance, program managers, contracts staff, and finance leadership, the position ensures accurate financial reporting, timely reimbursement requests, compliance with funding regulations, strong internal controls, and support for audits, budget development, nonprofit accounting standards, and government funding requirements.
