Jobot is seeking a Senior Accountant in New York for a brand-new role focused on revenue reporting across the organization. Hybrid work from our New York HQ. Competitive salary of $115,000 - $130,000 with generous benefits and a fantastic culture.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Experience in both Public Accounting & private is a must (Big 4 preferable).
• ERP Systems and CRM experience (NetSuite, Salesforce a plus).
• CPA preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Own and manage key accounting functions, including Accounts Receivable, revenue, billings, collections, and general ledger activities.
• Execute month-end close activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, flux analysis, and financial reporting support.
• Analyze financial results, investigate variances between actuals and budget, and provide meaningful insights to leadership.
• Assist in forecasting activities for revenue, billings and collections.
• Partner with external auditors and assist with annual audit preparation and requests.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements, automation, and increased efficiency.
• Prepare ad hoc reporting and financial analysis to support business decisions.

Job Details

This is a fantastic opportunity to play a pivotal role in our company's financial operations. Reporting to the Assistant Controller.

Responsibilities:

• 1. Own and manage key accounting functions, including Accounts Receivable, revenue, billings, collections, and general ledger activities.
• 2. Execute month-end close activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, flux analysis, and financial reporting support.

Qualifications:

• 1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 2. Experience in both Public Accounting & private is a must (Big 4 preferable)
• 3. Any experience with ERP Systems and CRM. (NetSuite, Salesforce is a plus but not necessary)
• 4. CPA preferred
