Electrolux Home Products, Inc. seeks a Senior Accountant to support the plant's financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, monthly close, variance analysis, and fixed asset accounting.

You will collaborate with manufacturing, corporate finance, and AP to improve processes and ensure accurate reporting. You will manage fixed assets, monthly closes, forecasts, and KPI reporting, while maintaining robust internal controls and supporting audits.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or business required.
• Minimum 3 years of progressive general accounting experience.
• Strong manufacturing finance background with ERP systems (JD Edwards, SAP or similar).
• Experience in accounting, internal controls, AP and fixed assets.
• Strong analytical skills and advanced Excel/reporting capabilities.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving with a continuous improvement mindset.

All about the role:

The Senior Accountant will report to the Plant Controller and will support the plant’s financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, monthly close, variance analysis, and fixed asset accounting. This role partners with manufacturing, corporate finance, and Accounts Payable teams to improve processes, resolve invoicing issues, and ensure accurate financial reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Managing fixed assets from budgeting through capitalization, analyzing KPIs, preparing financial reports, supporting audits, and maintaining strong internal controls.
• Manage monthly financial close activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, reporting consolidation, and compliance with internal controls.
• Develop monthly and annual forecasts in partnership with plant leadership and analyze variances to forecast and actual results.
• Oversee internal control processes, support external audit activities, and ensure compliance with financial policies.
• Prepare and distribute daily and monthly KPI and financial reports using advanced Excel and reporting tools.
• Manage fixed asset accounting, vendor payment coordination, and support annual physical inventory processes.
• Lead and execute special projects and provide financial support to plant operations and management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or business required; master’s degree, CPA, and/or CMA preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of progressive general accounting experience.
• Strong manufacturing finance background, including ERP systems (JD Edwards, SAP, or similar).
• Accounting, internal controls, AP and fixed assets experience.
• Strong analytical skills with advanced Excel and reporting capabilities.
• Effective communicator and problem-solver with a continuous improvement mindset.
