Job description

System One is assisting a Tulsa client with a search for a Senior Accountant. The position has a hybrid schedule and works with a great team. It has competitive salary and benefits.

Responsibilities:

• Involved in the month-end close process for a segment of the organization. Prepares journal entries and reviews accounts for reasonableness
• Financial Statement analysis preparing variance analyses identifying and explaining reasons for changes or unusual activity
• Build processes for the segment as it evolves
• Pull information together for internal and external reporting
• Project work, general ledger account reconciliations and reviewing balance sheet trends

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting, preferably completing audits within a public accounting firm
• BS degree in Accounting required, MS in accounting and CPA preferred
• Strong technical accounting skills and knowledge of GAAP
• Comfortable with accounting systems and strong in Excel
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Effective communicator, both written and verbal
• Team player who works well with individuals at all levels
• Accurate with a strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize work to meet deadlines
• Comfortable presenting information to upper management
• Flexible and adaptable
• Strong work ethic with a great attitude

Salary: $85K - 110K (depending on experience)
