Job summary

HB Wealth is seeking a detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our Finance & Accounting team. This role supports key accounting operations, month-end close, revenue reconciliation, accounts payable, and process improvement initiatives.

Location flexibility includes Towson, MD, Tampa, FL, or Charlotte, NC, with a hybrid work schedule (up to 40% remote). The ideal candidate has CPA credentials and strong GAAP knowledge to drive accuracy and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• CPA or active pursuit of CPA is required.
• 3-5 years of accounting experience.
• Strong understanding of GAAP, reconciliations, and month-end close.
• Advanced Excel skills and ERP experience (NetSuite preferred).
• Experience with AP/spend platforms such as Ramp, Bill.com, or Coupa.

Responsibilities

• Manage accounts payable, vendor onboarding, and corporate spend processes.
• Review and reconcile corporate card transactions.
• Prepare journal entries and support month-end close.
• Perform bank, investment, and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Maintain prepaid, fixed asset, depreciation, and accrual schedules.
• Record revenue and reconcile advisory fees.
• Monitor accounts receivable and resolve billing variances.
• Support audits, reporting, and accounting process improvements.

What We're Looking For

• Experience with ERP/accounting systems (NetSuite preferred)
• Experience with AP/spend management platforms such as Ramp, Bill.com, or Coupa preferred
• Passion for accuracy, process improvement, and leveraging AI-enabled tools
