Job summary

CFS in Minnesota is seeking a finance professional to lead month-end close, reporting, and analysis within a manufacturing environment. You will partner with finance and operations leaders to drive budgeting, forecasting, and business planning, with hands-on cost accounting and strong exposure to modern tools like SAP and Power BI.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 3+ years accounting experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of cost accounting, financial reporting, and general ledger functions.
• Experience with SAP and/or Global Shop Solutions preferred.
• Advanced Excel skills and experience using Power BI.
• Ability to clearly communicate financial trends and business insights.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, KPIs, and management reports.
• Support annual budgeting, forecasting, and ongoing financial planning activities.
• Manage balance sheet reconciliations and assist with month-end and year-end close.
• Perform detailed analysis of financial results versus budget, forecast, and prior periods.
• Ensure accurate cost accounting and intercompany transaction reporting.
• Support external audits, internal controls, and GAAP compliance initiatives.
