You'll play a central role in keeping our financial operations running smoothly — from partnering with our Controller to ensure the integrity of our general ledger to supporting our sales organization on credit and collections and ensuring timely sales tax filings.

Total Target Compensation Range: $85,000-$95,000

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform general ledger account reconciliations with accuracy and timeliness
  • Manage the credit and collections function, including working closely with our sales team to approve credit terms
  • Leverage NetSuite to maintain financial data, generate reports, and support month-end close
  • Build and maintain Excel-based models and analyses to support financial decision-making
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with sales and operations to ensure financial processes run efficiently
  • Lead and support the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes, including preparation and review of journal entries and accruals
  • Prepare and file timely and accurate sales and use tax returns across multiple jurisdictions
  • Assist in the preparation of financial statements and management reporting packages
  • Support internal and external audits by preparing schedules, reconciliations, and supporting documentation
  • Identify process improvement opportunities and help implement best practices across the accounting function
  • Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal accounting policies
Skills and Experience:
  • 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a mid-size or growth-stage company
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required; CPA or CPA candidacy a strong plus
  • Strong hands‑on experience with general ledger reconciliation and month‑end close
  • Proficiency in NetSuite, including report building and saved searches
  • Experience overseeing credit and collections, including credit risk assessment
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills — pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and complex formulas are second nature to you
  • Solid understanding of GAAP and revenue recognition principles
  • Experience with sales and use tax compliance across multiple states
