About The Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to play a key role in ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and timeliness of financial reporting.
The Senior Accountant will be responsible for preparing journal entries, maintaining balance sheet reconciliations, supporting month-end close activities, and assisting with financial statement preparation. This role combines recurring accounting responsibilities with opportunities to support projects and process improvements as the business grows.

Essential Responsibilities
- Assist in managing day-to-day accounting activities to ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP and internal controls.
- Execute month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and variance analyses.
- Assist in preparing internal and external financial reporting, including consolidated financial statements.
- Reconcile and analyze complex accounts, including intercompany transactions, fixed assets, accrued expenses, debt, and revenue recognition.
- Collaborate with FP&A, operations, and development teams to ensure proper classification of costs and alignment on financial treatment.
- Assist in preparing audit schedules and liaise with external auditors during the year-end audit.
- Participate in project meetings and provide financial insights and recommendations.
- Support the implementation and optimization of accounting systems and processes to support organizational growth.
- Complete other duties as assigned within the accounting and finance teams.
Education And Experience Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required; Master's degree preferred.
- 5+ years of relevant accounting experience.
- Solid technical knowledge of U.S. GAAP and internal controls.
- Experience with ERP systems and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong knowledge of accounting and financial principles, regulations, and best practices.
- Experience managing and coordinating multiple projects while meeting deadlines.
- Wind and/or solar energy project development, renewable energy, or partnership accounting experience preferred, but not required.
- Demonstrated adaptability in learning and applying AI-enabled tools and emerging technologies to improve efficiency, accuracy, and process scalability within accounting and finance workflows.

- Experience in the renewable energy industry, including wind or solar projects.
- Partnership accounting experience.
- Experience with consolidated financial reporting.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams in a growing organization.
