Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting required.
• 2–5 years of accounting experience.
• Strong understanding of month-end close, financial reporting, and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Experience with QuickBooks Online is preferred.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including VLOOKUPs, SUMIF functions, and financial analysis.

Responsibilities

• Manage month-end and year-end close activities for a portfolio of client accounts.
• Review financial statements, balance sheets, reconciliations, and supporting schedules across multiple client engagements.
• Prepare financial reporting packages and deliver accurate financial information to clients.
• Manage ongoing client communication through multiple client inboxes and serve as a trusted accounting resource.
• Review accounting transactions processed in QuickBooks Online and ensure financial accuracy.
• Support accrual accounting, revenue recognition, payroll activities, vendor payments, and account reconciliations.
• Assist with financial modeling, special projects, process improvements, and client advisory initiatives.
• Mentor and support junior accounting staff while collaborating with Accounting Managers on complex accounting matters.
