THE ROLE

The Accounting department is looking for a Senior Accountant to join our fast-paced, experienced team and support multiple business units within AG1. This person will focus on tracking and recording Inventory movements supporting our worldwide business as goods flow from producers to manufacturers and our ultimate end customers. This role will also assist the Revenue, Cash Applications, and Accounts Receivable cycle for the business as we continue to add revenue streams and additional international regions to our customer base. This role will also include some exposure to treasury-related work, such as cash reporting and monitoring company cash accounts. We are looking for someone who can successfully navigate through a high-volume of critical (and often, shifting) needs, while not skipping a beat.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
  • Ensure accurate inventory levels between NetSuite and global 3PL and co-manufacturer network
  • Evaluate purchase price and quantity variances throughout the inventory cycle, providing insights into reasons for fluctuations and communicating downstream impacts to changing prices
  • Coordinate with Finance and Supply Chain teams to ensure accurate tracking of inventory-related fluctuations and proactively flag associated risks and opportunities
  • Account for the cash payment flows from customer acquisition to ultimate deposit into our bank accounts
  • Ensure all revenue streams in multiple countries of origin are reconciled to sales orders for each region
  • Perform Treasury-related activities, including cash reporting, monitoring and funding company cash accounts, assisting with wire transfers, and recording related journal entries
  • Crosstrain within the accounting department to enable coverage of Cash, Prepaids, Fixed Assets, Accruals, and Leases
  • Reconcile balance sheet accounts as assigned, utilizing Floqast software and NetSuite ERP
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements, accounting controls, and learn and grow with the business as we expand internationally
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
  • 5+ years of general accounting experience with a proven track record of reliability and attention to detail. Experience with manufacturing, inventory accounting, and reconciling inventory GL accounts is a plus, along with familiarity with costing methods such as standard costing or average costing.
  • Strong technical accounting background, with working knowledge of ASC 330 (Inventory) and ASC 606 (Revenue Recognition)
  • Big 4 experience with active CPA license
  • Experience in the CPG (consumer packaged goods) industry is a plus
  • Demonstrated ability in utilizing AI tools to streamline existing processes.
  • The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with a consistent "can-do" attitude and ability to manage multiple work streams at once.
  • Strong interpersonal, written communication, and organizational skills.
  • A full life outside of work with personal passions and hobbies!
WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU?
  • Competitive compensation and performance-based incentive plans.
  • A 100% remote working environment (excluding Laboratory positions), which has been implemented from day one.
  • A strong company culture that is enforced through the hiring process to ensure values alignment and a highly collaborative team.
  • A mission-driven approach to everything that we do, with an overall goal to significantly improve our customers' health and wellness.
  • A high-growth, dynamic environment with opportunities for your direct impact to be felt.
  • Paid holidays, company-wide reset and reflect days, and unlimited PTO (based on your country of residence).
  • In-person team meetups for optimal collaboration, team building and accelerating productivity.
  • A work environment and culture that is based on high performance, productivity and continuous improvement.
  • The opportunity to work with passionate, high-growth, business-minded colleagues who bring their all to our mission each and every day.
  • Access to AG1 products and branded swag.
  • Monthly telecom stipend to offset some of the costs of home internet/wifi for eligible team members.
  • All other benefits and insurances as required by law, based on your specific country of residence.
