Job summary

MGM Resorts International is seeking a Senior Accountant to join our finance team in a remote-capable role for US operations, including NV. The position focuses on accurate general ledger activity, balance sheet reconciliations, and timely financial reporting in line with GAAP.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of accounting or auditing experience, exposure to gaming industry systems, and proficiency with major financial software suites.

Qualifications

• Has a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related field.
• Have 3+ Years of prior relevant experience in Auditing or Accounting.
• Experience pulling financial reports and utilizing them to make recommendations and decisions based on financial data.
• Experience preparing and reviewing general ledger account reconciliations.
• Experience with monthly and quarterly financial reporting including P&L review.
• Have 2+ years gaming industry experience.

Responsibilities

• Record transactional activity timely and accurately in the general ledger.
• Evaluate and implement internal controls so processes operate effectively.
• Provide necessary reporting on financial data, including ad-hoc and routine reports.
• Ensure proper planning and resource availability for assigned projects; supervise projects.
