Job summary

BCS Finance in Nashville is seeking a Senior Accountant to join a privately held, multi-site manufacturer. This role contributes to the close process, prepares financial statements, and supports budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.

You will help strengthen internal controls and work closely with senior finance leadership, gaining increasing international exposure as the company expands beyond U.S. operations and completes acquisitions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting
• 3-7 years accounting experience; manufacturing exposure preferred
• Experience at private/PE-backed company preferred
• Public accounting background is a plus

Responsibilities

• Own the month-end and year-end close process, including reconciliations, journal entries, and GL accuracy
• Prepare and analyze financial statements and management reporting as the company scales
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
• Help maintain internal controls and support external audit requests
• Work with senior finance leadership and executives across the organization
• Gain increasing international exposure as the company expands beyond U.S. operations
• Support integration accounting as acquisitions are completed

In search for Senior Accountant to join a privately held, multi-site manufacturer in the Nashville area. The company is on a strong growth trajectory — expanding both organically and through strategic acquisitions — and this role will play a key part in that next chapter.

What you'll do:

• Own the month-end and year-end close process, including account reconciliations, journal entries, and GL accuracy
• Prepare and analyze financial statements, supporting management reporting as the company scales
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
• Help maintain internal controls and support external audit requests
• Work closely with senior finance leadership, with regular exposure to executives across the organization
• Gain increasing international exposure as the company expands beyond U.S. operations
• Support integration accounting as the company completes acquisitions

What we're looking for:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting
• 3-7 years of progressive accounting experience; exposure to a manufacturing or adjacent industry is a strong plus
• Experience at a private, PE-backed, or similarly structured company (small to mid-size) preferred
• Public accounting background (CPA firm experience) is preferred
• Strong Excel skills and comfort working with ERP systems
• Someone who thrives in a lean, fast-moving environment and wants ownership over their work
