Job summary

Teksky LLC seeks a Senior Accountant to join our growing accounting firm in New Jersey. The ideal candidate will handle individual and business tax engagements, analyze financial statements, and communicate clearly with clients while collaborating with our team.

You will prepare tax returns using CCH ProSystem fx Tax, develop tax planning strategies, and ensure accuracy across financial statements and footnotes. Strong GAAP knowledge and public accounting experience are essential.

Responsibilities

• Prepare individual and business tax returns using CCH ProSystem fx Tax Software
• Prepare tax estimates and projections for individuals and businesses
• Prepare and analyze balance sheets and income statements, including account reconciliations
• Prepare accurate and complete financial statements, including footnote disclosures
• Perform general ledger analysis, account reconciliations, adjusting journal entries
• Research and apply current federal, state, and local tax laws
• Identify tax-planning strategies to minimize tax liabilities
• Review client financial information for accuracy and potential issues
• Communicate directly with clients regarding tax, accounting, and financial matters
• Develop and maintain strong, professional client relationships
• Collaborate with and guide other accounting team members
• Manage multiple client engagements and deadlines
• Assist with special projects and other accounting matters
