United Bank is searching for driven individuals responsible for general accounting entries, reconciliations, and document retention, as well as payroll functions.The Senior Accountant will have the important role of assisting in the administration of accounting for the investment portfolio, fixed assets and prepaids. This position is also responsible for insurance accounting and various general accounting and reconciliations. This role will also assist with the daily administration of funds position including Federal funds sold and/or purchased. In addition, this position will assist in the following tasks; month end/close, preparation of financial statements, administration of the general ledger, completion of bank and corporate regulatory reporting and accounts payable. The accountant will also process payroll and complete various payroll reporting. Responsible for areas of compliance as it relates to this position.
