Job summary

Trucordia is seeking a senior accounting professional in Lindon, Utah to lead accounting functions and support month-end closes. You will work with the accounting manager to solve problems, drive timely reporting, and ensure accuracy across multi-entity statements.

The role offers growth opportunities in a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment. Qualified candidates have 4+ years of accounting experience, a bachelor's degree, and strong Excel and ERP experience.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of accounting experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Management, or a related field.
• General ledger software experience (Excel, Sage, QuickBooks, Soft Ledger, Travers, etc.).
• Experience in reconciliation controls, managing aged items, and escalating issues.
• Advanced experience with Microsoft Office Suite, such as Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Reporting financial information, providing timely, accurate, and useful information to management for review and decision making.
• Communicating and managing financial goals/deadlines for month-end processes with Principles.
• Performing full balance sheet reconciliation, including substantiation, for monthly close work papers.
• Consolidating multi-company financial statements with variance analysis.
• Supporting other accounting staff in the creation of annual audits.
• Leading staff and junior accountants to ensure deadlines are met.
• Interpreting data and identifying trends to influence projects.
• Performing revenue reconciliation to carrier and client agreements.

Job Description

As a leader at Trucordia, you will report to your accounting manager as you make leadership and management decisions, problem-solve independently, and resolve arising issues for your teams. Duties and Responsibilities

• Experience in insurance accounts receivables
• Facilitate collaboration, establishing, and maintaining strong work relationships
• Recognize and effectively communicate the bigger picture to your teammates
• Multitask, prioritize your work, and stay organized
• Gather and analyze financial data as you escalated issues in a timely manner
• Work in typical office conditions, reading from and entering data into a computer
