Job summary

Wilding Brands, based in Lafayette, Colorado, seeks a Senior Accountant to oversee daily accounting and perform month-end close for multiple entities in a fast‑paced craft beverage environment.

This full‑time, on‑site role requires solid GAAP knowledge, accuracy, and effective communication. You will manage AR/AP, cash, inventory, fixed assets, revenue recognition, tax filings, and assist with budgets, forecasts, and CPA reviews. Health benefits and 401(k) are provided.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent required.
• CPA certification highly preferred.
• Experience with QuickBooks and inventory systems is desirable.
• Strong GAAP knowledge and sound accounting judgment.

Responsibilities

• Manage all accounting operations for multiple entities.
• Oversee cash receipts/disbursements, AR/AP, and accruals.
• Maintain inventory, fixed assets, and revenue recognition.
• Prepare monthly consolidated financial statements.
• Assist in budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis.
• Collaborate with CPA firm for annual reviews and tax filings.

Responsibilities:

• Manage all accounting operations including cash receipts and disbursements, accounts receivable, accounts payable and accruals, inventory, fixed assets and revenue recognition for multiple entities
• Manage purchasing policies and procedures
• Prepare consolidated financial statements on a monthly basis
• Enforce standard accounting policies and procedures of the organization
• Perform an efficient month-end close process
• Assist in the development of annual budgets and forecasts
• Calculate variances from the budget and identify and analyze significant differences
• Prepare sales and use tax returns for applicable jurisdictions
• Track and report key financial metrics
• Assist CPA firm with annual review of financial statements
• Comply with local, state and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings

Requirements:

• Strong operational accounting skills, financial skills and GAAP knowledge
• Demonstrated ability to assess, develop, enhance and implement accounting/finance policies, procedures and controls
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment
• Ability to commute to our Headquarters location in Lafayette
• Effective communicator, with strong oral and written skills
• Strong work ethic and proactive attitude
• Excellent attention to detail
• Experience with Quickbooks is highly desired
• Experience with inventory management software is highly desired

Education/Certification:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• CPA preferred
• Estimated salary range: $95,000 - $110,000 DOE
